Reflections On The Minor Prophets Of The Bible

I recently read through the Minor Prophets of the Bible for the first time in several years. The quotes are from the Asser translation of the LXX, which is no longer readily available online. It’s kind of like the Wycliffe Bible, passed along in PDFs with questionable legality.

Some notable passages stood out to me.

Hosea 9  11Ephraim is flown away like a bird; their glories are from childbirth and travail and conception. 12For though they bring up their children, they shall be bereaved of people; yea, woe also is to them; My flesh is of them. 13Ephraim, as I saw, gave their children as a prey, even Ephraim, to lead out his children for piercing. 14Give them, O LORD; what wilt Thou give them? a childless womb and dry breasts. 15All their iniquities are in Gilgal, for there came I to hate them; for the wickedness of their doings I will drive them out of Mine house; I will love them no more; all their princes are disobedient. 16Ephraim hath suffered; his roots are dried up; he shall bear fruit no more; yea, though they bring forth, yet will I slay the desirable fruit of their womb. 17God shall cast them away because they did not hearken unto Him, and they shall be wanderers among the nations.

So what this reminds me of is something I often say that usually makes people upset, and that is that most parents don’t love their children. There’s nothing sacred or special about a mother’s love. It’s just animalistic attachment.

We see here in verse 13 that Ephraim (which I assume is code for the ten northern tribes) has used his children as bait for his own gain instead of taking care of his children. My oh my are the paralells with our society glaring.

In the early 1960s this country was the most prosperous society on earth with a chicken in every pot and limitless opportunity to make a decent living, and within fifty years it was all gone. At this point it is almost impossible to support yourself on a single income, even without children. My generation has the widest gap of opportunity promised and actual opportunity, and we are mad as hell about it. The older generation who ruined everything is totally unsympathetic. Half the reason I’m so racist is because I know it upsets the old people who flooded my country with third word savages.

But anyway, the Bible clearly says that just because you produce children doesn’t mean that you actually care about them. Whole nations, in fact, can use their kids as a means to an end. And what is the result? The complete barrenness of the nation. Verse 16 is where America is at right now. Verse 17 will happen within my lifetime.

And yet earlier in the book,

4 10And they shall eat, and not be satisfied; they have committed whoredom, and shall by no means prosper, because they have left off to hold fast unto the LORD. 11Whoredom and wine and strong drink have taken hold upon the heart of My people.

Israel had become a sex paradise and yet could not sustain a birth rate. Again, the parallels shine like a beacon.

The passage continues,

12They asked counsel through signs, and by his staffs they declared unto him; by a spirit of whoredom have they erred, and gone a whoring from their God. 13They have sacrificed upon the tops of the mountains, and upon the hills have they sacrificed under the oak and white poplar and thickly shading tree, because the shade thereof was good. Therefore your daughters shall commit whoredom, and your daughters-in-law shall commit adultery. 14And I will not shew My care for your daughters when they commit whoredom, nor your daughters-in-law when they commit adultery; for themselves mingled with harlots, and they sacrificed with initiates, and the people that did not understand embraced an harlot.

And later on,

13  5I tended thee in the wilderness in an empty land 6according to their pastures. And they were satisfied to the full, and their hearts were exalted; therefore have they forgotten Me. 7Therefore I will be as a panther unto them and as a leopard according to the way of the Assyrians. 8I will meet them as a she-bear that is perplexed, and I will rend the caul of their heart, and there shall the young lions of the thicket devour them; the wild beasts of the field shall tear them in pieces.

It’s often said that Orthodoxy doesn’t believe in an angry God like the prots do. I’m just not seeing that. Israel is clearly sinners in the hands of an angry God. God is saying that he is like a mother bear towards people who have broken his covenant.

However, I think the dominant narrative of the Old Testament is not anger but patience. Atheists often say that the God of the Old Testament is far more angry than the God of the New Testament, but I have always seen it the opposite way, that New Testament God is much more quick to bring judgment for much smaller infractions than he was in the Old Testament.

And if God doesn’t get angry, what reason is there to fear him? If Judgment Day is just a formality, then why worry about it?

So again, the prots are correct but in the wrong way. God is angry, but it’s not the anger of a hurricane, nor does the anger need to be satisfied by a replacement. It’s the anger of a husband whose wife is whoring with the coloreds downtown. Which is the exact metaphor the Bible uses, that Israel has abandoned the bridegroom to sleep with other nations. Basically, ancient Israel is a coal-burner and a mudshark.

The inherent disgust white men feel for their daughter sleeping with a negro or an Aztec is the same disgust God feels for Christians living in sin. That’s the exact metaphor used. And what happens then? We saw what happens in chapter 9 — the end of the nation. You give your children away to another nation, and your grandchildren won’t be the same race as you. You let your children (especially your daughters) marry protties and papists, and your grandchildren will be heretics who think you’re a superstitious old fool. You send your children to college, and they will come out in four years as a communist and an atheist.

Wouldn’t that make quite the Sunday morning sermon?

Amos 2 10Also I brought you up from the land of Egypt and led you about forty years in the wilderness to inherit the land of the Amorites. 11And I took of your sons for prophets, and of your young men for consecration. Are not these things even thus, O ye sons of Israel?’ saith the LORD. 12‘But ye gave the consecrated ones wine to drink, and commanded the prophets, saying, “Prophesy not”. 13Therefore behold, I shall roll under you, as a wagon is rolled that is full of straw. 14And flight shall perish from the runner, and the strong shall not hold fast his strength, neither shall the warrior save his soul.

Again, the parallels are striking. So the philosophy of the American founders wasn’t totally Christian, but this was still a “one nation under God” kind of thing, and the Enlightenment tried to see reality as it really is, whereas today’s secularists try to distort reality to be whatever they wish it to be.

America had the potential to be a super Christian country, and for a while we sort of were. We had a great economy, we had the ability to create and invent and reach the height of human potential. We had total control of our government. The arts and sciences flourished. Every possible blessing that could be given to a nation, we had.

It wasn’t the same kind of covenant that Israel had, but there was still no lack of opportunity. We didn’t have the Orthodox Church, but we had the Bible mass produced, and the protestantism of the 1800s wasn’t that bad. We have no excuses. We are not the theoretical “good man on the Ganges River”.

And what have we done with it? We used these great gifts to create an air conditioned Babylon. American values aren’t freedom and apple pie. If you want to know what actual American values are, look at the Democrat debates.

The Republicans are no different. They are calling for red flag laws, they have done almost nothing about internet censorship, they have pushed for amnesty, and Trump has bragged about coercing other countries to decriminalize homosexuality. They certainly don’t want to end welfare. How are the Republicans any diffrent than the Democrats of the 1990s?

A people gets the rulers they deserve, and this is especially so in a democracy, so I have little sympathy for the complaints about the two party system. The reason people like Barry Goldwater and George Wallace don’t run anymore is because they can’t win. The kinds of candidates who can win are George Bush and Barack Obama.

So yes, God took our sons for prophets and our young men for consecration, and we gave them wine to drink and commanded the prophets to not prophesy, and now God will destroy our country with earthquakes, hurricanes and the feral “people” of the third world. God will mow us down like a tank, and there is nothing we can do to stop it except repent, and that’s not about to happen.

And what do we hedge our bets on? That if we give enough money to Israel then the rapture will happen and we won’t have to die. That’s what Christianity has turned into.

I think this is what the Minor Prophets are about. You aren’t supposed to understand them — it’s supposed to be a warning. It’s supposed to make you fear God.

These kinds of passages, though, always beg the question of whether this is a prosperity gospel. After all, the New Testament sees suffering as a good thing. An abundance of suffering teaches you how to become a saint. A lack of suffering is a sign that God is not working with you.

I think the issue is that these promises of blessing and curse are for entire nations, not individuals. The Old Testament never promises that every righteous Israelite will be wealthy, and the law makes provisions to take care of those who are not wealthy.

These promises are also looking at the long term, so while a nation may be wealthy or poor right now, that doesn’t mean they will stay that way in the future.

And because the Holy Spirit hadn’t come yet, God had to appeal to people’s most basic drives. The law is written in such a way that it will naturally teach you humility if you merely follow the externals of it.

7 Thus hath the LORD God shewed unto me; and behold, a breed of locusts coming at the early morning; and behold, one caterpillar, Gog the king. 2And it came to pass, when they had made an end of devouring the grass of the land, that I said, ‘LORD, O LORD, be merciful; who shall raise up Jacob, for he is very small? 3Relent, O LORD, at this.’ ‘And this shall not be’, saith the LORD.

Famine. We don’t really have famine do we? Well, we do.

The food we eat is garbage. It’s not at all the food we were eating a hundred years ago, and it’s almost impossible to eat healthy today. You would basically have to buy all your food at the farmer’s market. I did that for about two weeks. It’s not easy.

In America our poor don’t starve — they get obese. Either way their poor diet kills them.

But it’s not just the poors. We all eat this way. It’s almost impossible to avoid. Soy is in everything. Our grains and dairy are mad science distortions of what they used to be. Eggs don’t taste like they came from a farm. Everything has sugar in it. Even the packaging is poison.

We’re dying from our food, and it’s because drunk on our own hubris we played God and tried to manipulate the food source for short term economic gain, and the cost is our children.

Further on in the same chapter,

17Therefore thus saith the LORD: “Thy wife shall become an harlot in the city, and thy sons and thy daughters shall fall by the sword, and thy land shall be measured by a line, and thou shalt die in an unclean land, and Israel shall be led captive out of his land”.’

Where are we in America? Our women are all whores. We kill our children through abortion and contraception, or if we decide to let them live, we kill them spiritually and emotionally in the school system. Our land is being overtaken by invaders (“thy land shall be measured by a line”). Our cities are crumbling, trash lines the streets and there is graffiti everywhere (“an unclean land”).

“All of this is kind of racist. How would this make Mexicans feel?”

Well it’s not Mexicans’ land, so their feelings don’t really matter. They are the invaders. And anyway, the Mexicans who have been here for generations or who were legal immigrants generally hate the illegal immigrants. I saw a poll where a majority of Hispanic voters, including those who voted for Hillary Clinton, support building the wall.

Our nation is being invaded by feral “people” who have nothing in common with us, and it’s because of our own sinfulness. The descendants of the original founders of this country are dying out and being replaced.

Chapter 9 9‘For, lo, I give commandment, and I will sift the house of Israel among all the Gentiles, like as that which is sifted in a sifting pan, and not the least corn shall in any wise fall upon the earth. 10All the sinners of My people shall die by the sword, which say, “Evil shall not draw near, nor come upon us”. 11In that day will I raise up the tabernacle of David, which is fallen down, and I will build again the ruins thereof, and set up those things that have been broken down, and build it up as in the days of old; 12that the residue of men and all the Gentiles upon whom My name is called may earnestly seek Me,’ saith the LORD, Who doeth all these things.

God is going to kill all the gays and feminists and race hustlers, and only the fundamentalists who have ten children will survive. And then those of us who actually want a civilization will have the liberty to create one.

Micah 2  2 They devised troubles and worked evils upon their beds, and with the daylight they practised it, because they have not lifted up their hands unto God. 2And they desired fields, and spoiled the fatherless, and oppressed families, and spoiled a man and his house, even a man and his inheritance

Atheists talk about how Christianity is a bunch of rules that don’t matter, but what God really wants is you to show respect for other people. Notice God isn’t like, “You said some dirty words.” What he’s saying is, “You’ve exploited the poor.”

This idea that Christianity is a bunch of arbitrary rules is ridiculous. Christianity is justice.

Occultists and liberals delight in being the opposite of Christianity. This imagery is all through their music, art and literature. So what most secularists are really supporting is landlords refusing to maintain slum apartments or sweatshops using child labor for pennies an hour. Which makes sense, since these things become more common the more secular society becomes.

3 5Thus saith the LORD concerning the prophets that lead my people astray, that bite with their teeth and proclaim peace unto them, and when nothing was put into their mouth, they raised up war against them: […] 7And the seers of night visions shall be ashamed, and the prophets shall be laughed to scorn. And all the people  shall speak against them, because there shall be none to hearken unto them.’

How can you tell when a prophet is false? A false prophet tells you what you want to hear. He tells you that humanity can become gods. A real prophet will always tell you what you don’t want to hear.

This is near identical to an anti-Christ, someone who sets himself up as a Christ substitute. Pope Francis is an anti-Christ. Barack Obama was an anti-Christ. Mark Zuckerberg is an anti-Christ. Hillary Clinton wants to be an anti-Christ, but no one pays her any attention.

5 14And I will execute vengeance on the heathen in anger and wrath, because they have not hearkened.’

Again, yes, the protties are right that God is angry with all those who do not fear him. He is still patient and loving, but that does not diminish his wrath.

What they misunderstand is that this wrath is not an essential trait of God’s that must be vented somewhere. It is the same wrath that a father has when someone mistreats his child. It is the wrath a righteous judge has when someone breaks the law and harms other people. It is the wrath a king has when someone close to him leads a coup. It is the anger of giving money to a homeless man, only to watch him spend it on crack cocaine. We are but sinners in the hands of an angry, patient and loving God.

10Is there not fire and the house of the wicked heaping up wicked treasures, and that with the pride of unrighteousness?

The pride of unrighteousness. What is the single most defining virtue of the sodomite community that they self-identify with? What’s the word they use? It’s on the tip of my tongue.

11Shall the wicked be justified by the balance or deceitful weights in the bag, 12whereby they have filled their riches with ungodliness; and they that dwell in the city have spoken lies, and their tongue hath been exalted in their mouth?

Justified by false weights. This is the rationalizations we use to create modern ethics. “It’s okay for me to divorce my husband, because I’m not the real me when I’m around him.”

16For thou hast kept the statutes of Omri and all the works of the house of Ahab, and ye have walked in their ways that I might deliver thee to utter destruction and them that inhabit the city to a hissing, and ye shall bear the reproach of nations.

I think a good modern equivalent of this is our love affair with Islam. For decades we have angrily shaken our fist at God, all the while petting this scorpion, and then every time a Musloid does the predictable thing they have done for centuries, we have the gall to say, “Thoughts and prayers.”

Like with Constantinople in the 1400s, I do not care in the least about these terrorist attacks. No one else takes them seriously, so why should I? It’s what we’ve chosen. We’ve abandoned the real God for the pagan gods of the desert.

Last week at work I told a teenage girl she should marry wealthy and have seven kids. She said she only wants two children. I told her that whites are well below replacement rate and that birth control should be illegal. She said that’s a horrible idea, because people shouldn’t be forced to have so many kids. I told her not to have sex if she doesn’t want to have kids and that society is about to collapse. One of the male waitresses said I sound cynical. I told him I’m definitely pessimistic about the future.

7  5Trust thou not in friends, and put not your confidence in guides. Beware of thy wife, that thou commit not any thing unto her. 6For the son dishonoureth his father; the daughter will rise up against her mother, the daughter in law against her mother in law; a man’s enemies are all those in his house.

The end times are marked by a dissolution in what should be unbreakable bonds of loyalty. People have no loyalty. Your best friend for years will decide he’s bored with you and will quit answering your messages without warning. As we saw above, most parents don’t love their children.

8Rejoice not against me, O mine enemy, for I have fallen, yet shall I arise; for though I sit in darkness, the LORD shall be a light unto me. 9I will bear the anger of the LORD, because I have sinned against Him, until He make good my cause. He also shall maintain my right, and bring me forth to the light; and I shall behold His righteousness.

Micah both hopes in God’s salvation and realizes that he has been part of the problem. No one is innocent. We are all collaboraters.

11During a day of daubing of brick, that day shall be thine utter destruction, and that day shall utterly abolish thine ordinances. 12And thy cities shall be levelled and parted among the Assyrians, and thy strong cities shall be parted from Tyre even to the river, and from sea to sea, and from mountain to mountain

During your demeaning labor working at a convenience store for a wage less than you can live on despite your years of education, the Mexicans will conquer California and Texas, the blacks will take the mid-Atlantic, and the Muslims will have the upper Midwest.

13And the land shall be utterly desolate, together with them that dwell therein, for the fruit of their doings.

Have you seen a picture of Seattle lately? And that’s without the immigrants. Imagine what a couple million Aztecs could do to the Pacific Northwest.

18Who is a God like unto Thee, removing iniquities, and passing over the sins of the remnant of His inheritance? And He hath not kept His anger for a testimony, for He delighteth in mercy. 19He will return, and have mercy upon us; He will sink our iniquities, and they shall be cast into the depths of the sea, even all our sins. 20He shall give blessings truly unto Jacob and mercy unto Abraham, as Thou didst swear unto our fathers according to the former days.

Thus the book closes with a glimmer of hope, that while we are all guilty, God’s anger will not hold against the penitent. In chapter four there is a section about how there will be world peace.

Which reminds me of something in chapter four.

4 5For all the people shall walk every one in his own way, but we will walk in the name of the LORD our God for ever and ever.

That’s the difference between hell and heaven. No need to read C S Lewis to discover the Orthodox concept of hell — it’s right here in the Bible. Hell isn’t merely punishment for being out of communion with God — it is walking in your own way by your own rules for all of eternity.

Obadiah 8In that day,’ saith the LORD, ‘I will even destroy the wise men out of Edom, and understanding out of the mount of Esau.

This makes me think of academia. We have all these wise men with wise thoughts and wise book deals. Our wise congressmen and bureaucrats listen to them and make wise decisions based on the, and like with the Edomites, it will only lead to our own ruin.

15For the day of the LORD is near upon all thee. As thou hast done, so it shall be done unto thee; thy reward shall be returned upon thine own head.

Again, the Orthodox concept of hell. Actually, it’s not “the Orthodox concept”. It’s the Biblical concept.

We all like this idea, of people getting what they deserve in the eternity, but we all think that applies to other people and not to us. Yes, George Soros will (probably) go to hell, and perhaps we can rejoice at the justice, but the more important question that’s not asked is if we will join him.

I think it’s also interesting in these minor prophet books the tie between faith and works. These two things are inseparable. You can judge the amount of one by the other. The text doesn’t even really focus on motivation. It’s sort of implied that if you have respect for people then it’s because you see the image of God in them.

Jonah 1 14And they cried unto the LORD and said, ‘Forbid it, LORD, let us not perish for the sake of this man’s life, and bring not upon us righteous blood; for Thou, O LORD, hast done according to Thy pleasure’. 15So they took up Jonah, and cast him forth into the sea, and the sea ceased from her raging. 16And the men feared the LORD exceedingly, and offered a sacrifice unto the LORD and made vows.

So God’s wrath can do a lot to bring people to repentance. I’m seeing a lot of secular people look at the way the far left has gone and how the mainstream narrative has changed and virtually all of this is unopposed, and these secularists are realizing that Christianity was right all along. Chateau Heartiste, Andrew Anglin, Roosh V, Jim Goad and Stephan Molyneux are some of the more famous examples of anti-liberal secularists who are at the least sort of defensive of Christianity and at the most have totally converted in recent years. I also know some people in my personal life.

Wouldn’t it be nice that every time you did something you shouldn’t have done, God would send a storm? Things would be so much more clear. Though that wouldn’t make much of a difference. Ultimately repentance is an attitude, not a logical proposition. The Pharisees had no shortage of evidence. Neither did Pharoah. This relates to my point about chapter three.

3  9‘Who can tell if God will relent and turn from His fierce anger, and so we perish not?’ 10And God saw their works, that they turned from their evil ways; and God repented of the evil that He had said that He would do unto them, and He did it not.

I am of the belief that everyone believes in God. There are no atheists, no agnostics, and no pantheists. Everyone on some level knows that there is one God and that Jesus is his son. The athys and the Jews rage against the Christians, because the Christians by their mere presence and identity are a painful reminder that the athys and Jews aren’t having the integrity they claim.

So you can’t argue someone into faith. People convert by choosing repentance.

This is what it means in Exodus about “hardening the heart”, that when someone who hates God is forced to be around God, it causes that person’s hatred to flair up into an uncontrollable rage. The more miracles Jesus did, the more the Pharisses wanted to kill him. This story repeats itself in early martyr stories, that some saint would survive whatever torture the Roman government did, which would only make the governing official devise an even more cruel torture.

And again in Zephaniah 1,

12And it shall come to pass in that day that I will search Jerusalem with a lamp, and take vengeance on the men that despise the things that are committed unto them; but they say in their hearts, ‘The LORD will not do any good, neither will He do any evil’.

This reminds me of Jesus’s parable about the wicked servants who assume the master will not return from his voyage.

Continuing on in this book and chapter,

14For the great day of the LORD is near; it is near and very speedy; the voice of the day of the LORD is made bitter and harsh. 15A mighty day of wrath is that day, a day of affliction and distress, a day of desolation and destruction, a day of gloominess and darkness, a day of cloud and vapour, 16a day of the trumpet and cry against the strong cities, and against the high corners. 17And I will greatly afflict the men, and they shall walk like blind men, because they have sinned against the LORD; therefore shall He pour out their blood as dust, and their flesh as dung. 18And their silver and their gold shall in no wise be able to deliver them in the day of the LORD’s wrath, but the whole land shall be devoured by the fire of His jealousy, for He will bring a speedy destruction upon all them that dwell in the land.

I understand that this specifically refers to something in the Old Testament times (I’m assuming the captivity to Babylon), but if we see this as a statement about God’s general nature, I find it very comforting. The day is coming when God will no longer hold back his wrath, and all those who thought they could live without the fear of God will understand that “it is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.”

This is not me rejoicing in bloodlust like Jonah. This is me seeing how the world is broken and knowing that God will fix it, that the ways in which people have ruined that which was supposed to be and easily could have been good and beautiful have not gone unnoticed. The day is coming when those who were supposed to do the things that were committed to them but despised these things, who believed that the Lord will not react with praise or condemnation, that these people will fall into the hands of the living God. That which is broken will be made right. God is not the absent clockmaker he often seems like.

2  8‘I have heard the revilings of Moab, and the reproaches of the children of Ammon, wherewith they have reviled My people, and magnified themselves against My borders. 9Therefore as I live,’ saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel, ‘Moab shall be as Sodom, and the children of Ammon as Gomorrah, and Damascus shall be left as an heap of the threshingfloor and desolate for ever; and the remnant of My people shall spoil them, and the remnant of My nation shall inherit them.’

Now that Eugene Peterson is dead, here is my own The Message interpretation for today’s audience:

I have seen the subversion of California and the persecution by New York, by which they have persecuted the Christians in the Southeast and Midwest and forced their godless ideology upon the regions which still try to hold to Christian morality. Therefore as a I live, California will be destroyed like Sodom just as the New Yorkers will be like Gomorrah, and Seattle will be left as a pile of used heroin needles on the sidewalk and will be abandoned forever, and those who practice traditional family structures will take their place.

Except that Damascus was not desolate. It eventually became a Christian and then a Muslim city. Maybe this just means the pagans there. Though Islam is pagan. So I don’t know.

“You shouldn’t wish death and destruction on people.”

So I shouldn’t wish for God to do the things he said he would do? Is God making a mistake? Does God not understand what it means to turn the other cheek?

3 8Therefore wait ye upon Me,’ saith the LORD, ‘until the day that I rise up for a witness. For My judgment shall be upon the gathering of the Gentiles, to draw kings unto Me, to pour out upon them all My fierce anger; for all the earth shall be consumed with the fire of My jealousy.

Wow, sounds like God is angry with “all the earth”. And what are we to do in the meantime? “Wait ye upon Me unitl the day that I rise up for a witness.”

All I ever do is wait. Like Linus waiting for the Great Pumpking to give him his Halloween gift. Sitting alone in the cold, clinging to faith while feeling like the only idiot in the world.

19‘Behold, I will work in thee for thy sake at that time’, saith the LORD, ‘and I will save her that was oppressed, and receive her that was rejected, and I will make them a praise and honoured in all the earth. 20And they shall be ashamed at that time when I shall deal well with you, and at the time when I shall receive you; for I will make you honoured, and a praise among all the nations of the earth when I turn back your captivity before you,’ saith the LORD.

I don’t know why people say that the Old Testament God is full of anger. These are books of hope.

You would also think that the liberals would like this God, whatwith all the stuff about justice for the poor and taking down wealthy landowners and bankers. But instead they prefer the pot-smoking Jesus whose best friends were homosexuals, abortion activists and negroes.

Zechariah  3 3Now Joshua was clothed with filthy garments, and stood before the angel. 4And He answered and spake unto those that stood before Him, saying, ‘Take away the filthy garments from him’. And unto him He said, ‘Behold, I have taken away thine iniquities; 5and clothe ye him with a robe of a full length, and set a clean mitre upon his head.” And they set a clean mitre upon his head, and clothed him with garments;

This reminds me of the parable of the wedding garments. So again we have the Orthodox/Biblical concept of heaven. Only those who have been cleaned can join the wedding. Those who are not clean have to stay outside and wallow in the mud.

I think part of the indignation people have over hell is the concept. American Christianity sese sin as breaking rules, not as something with a nature to it. In reality, all hell is is sin fully manifested in its nature. If you’re a sinful person, you belong with sin. You can’t show up to a wedding dressed like you’re going to a tavern.

2017 Scientific Study: Losers Are More Likely To Be Liberal

Let’s say you need to pilot a cargo ship from New York to Los Angeles. Are you going to go through the canal like a Democrat, or are you going to go around the horn like a man?

Shockingly, those who are small and weak and depend on others are more likely to believe we should just share everything. And I’m not referring to women, although most of the below would apply to them as well.

From The Blaze:

Brunel University academics studied 171 men aged 18 – 40, examining their overall physical strength, bicep circumference, weight, and height. They also noted the amount of time each individual spent at a gym, and examined these variables in light of whether they subscribed more to capitalist or socialist ideologies. They found that the more physically strong the men were, the less they believed in socialist policies, and the more they believed certain social groups should be dominant.

The strong do what they want, and the weak perish.

The only people who believe in equality are those who desperately need it: women, gays, coloreds, fat people, Jews, recreational drug users, liberal arts majors, and males with no marketable skills (or any skills). All of these people are worthless, economically. Any work they do is at best a luxury to society and not a core essential. All of these are drains on the economy and taxes, and yet they are chronic consumers who envy anyone who has anything nicer than them. The most economically worthless among us waste the most money on Amazon.

I don’t know why they even did a study about this, because it’s so obvious. None of the left-wing activists you see in the news ever look physically healthy. They are always either so skinny as to be almost translucent or morbidly obese. All of them would immediately be executed in the Soviet Union. Do these people really think that once society is sharing everything “to each according to his need, from each according to his ability” that the totally worthless will have a spot at the table?

Communism isn’t an ideology so much as it’s a tactic. You tell the losers and outcasts a bunch of lies to make them destroy the existing ruling class so that you can seize power. Which means that communism has been highly successful at every attempt. At that point you can dispose of these losers, because they are no longer useful. Worse, they actually believe in their beliefs, and so they aren’t malleable.

The Bolshevik party united all the non-Russian ethnic groups to kill the nobility. But once that was finished, the communist government found that the Khazars and Mongolians didn’t want to assimilate into the broader culture. The outsiders wanted to be distinct and tribal and traditional.

Socialists are by definition losers, because they believe that there should be no winners. All socialists are dishonest, hypocritical and greedy. There are no exceptions. If you know a socialist, you should know that you should never trust him.

Education workers are usually liberal because they need the government to prop up a fake workplace that isn’t at all necessary to the survival of the tribe. Even when teachers and professors are Republican, they are usually Bush family supporters who think all races are equal and that the most important thing in life is preparing for a good career. If you know an education worker, you should also never trust her.

Christians were so anti-Trump in 2016 because most pastors (protestant, Orthodox or Catholic) are talentless hacks who just want an easy job with lots of status in an air-conditioned office. Obviously there are exceptions. Most pastors’ only marketable skill is public speaking, and they are one racist joke away from working at McDonald’s. So they are very careful to cultivate a certain image that isn’t offensive to the congregation. Of course they were offended at Donald Trump’s raw integrity.

Why would someone who is completely worthless to society in any survival sense want a president who “tells it like it is”? No matter how much Papa Trump has done for the Christians, most pastors still hate him. Reagan and the Bushes did absolutely nothing for Christians, and I specifically remember Bush Jr being held up as a Christian role model guided by the wisdom of the Bible. Bush gave the illusion that this was a Christian nation on a righteous mission of spreading niceness to the whole world — I can’t think of anything that better exemplifies American Christianity.

If you know a pastor (or someone else who makes their living off of religion) who gets into a visceral rage over our beloved Caesar and refuses to give him the benefit of the doubt on anything, then you should not trust that person ever.

The only truly conservative women I’ve met are homeschooling moms who are always learning new home-ec DIY projects. That is to say, the only women I’ve met whose greatest life ambition isn’t to zone out in front of Hulu are women who value real skills to better take care of their family beyond putting Stouffer’s in the oven.

And just don’t trust gays and Jews as a blanket policy.

One of the major differences between the older generation of conservatives and the younger generation is that the older generation believes that disagreements over politics are about coming to different conclusions after looking at the same facts. The younger generation on the right-wing understands that politics has nothing to do with logic and is all about different groups fighting over resources.

Those of us who are better than everyone else scoff at the mere mention of equality. Like, I’m equal to a morbidly obese atheist who audibly squeals in anticipation over the next Marvel movie? The fat bisexual whore with suicide awareness tattoos? The vibrant urban youth with an IQ of a German shepherd and the hair trigger of a pit bull?

I basically go through my entire day’s routine like Disney’s Gaston, making women fall in love with my overtly sexist, racist remarks and then breaking their hearts when I reject them as unworthy. I want to say that it’s not my fault that I’m such a prime specimen, that it’s just the genetic lottery and that I can’t help that I’m better than all the Seth Rogans of the world, but I would be lying.

Anyway, yes, you can totally judge someone’s political beliefs by looking at them. The aspects of a person’s life don’t exist in isolation. If you’re a loser in your personal life, you probably vote for the party that is all about coddling the losers and punishing the winners.

I have a brother who is sort of center left and secretly voted for Hillary Clinton. He wears pastel v-necks and dockers, and he carefully grooms his hair to perfection every day. I think I would literally rather die than look like him. Currently he lives in San Francisco, where I just assume he’s catching the AIDS.

I have another brother in Denver. He smokes weed and plays guitar. He claims he “doesn’t have a violent bone in [his] body.” He is totally politically and religiously apathetic.

Three years ago I got a minor concussion after getting into a street fight in a mall parking lot because I almost ran over a couple of obese faggots who were standing in the middle of the road. People were all like, “You’ve had that coming for years,” as though pain is inherently a bad thing. Do I look like a middle-aged dad in plaid shorts?

No, I’m not a suburban white collar dad whose only hands-on skill is giving my kids a terrible haircut. I have real skills and real callouses on my fingers, and while that might not make any money, it does mean that I vocally laugh at niggers when they threaten me instead of cower in fear.

After the Glorious Revolution of 2016, I got rid of all my liberal friends. I don’t associate with losers, and, according to Science, Democrats are losers. If you’re the kind of person who can say without laughing, “I am a straight white male, and I believe that Hillary Clinton is the best choice to guide our country for the greater good of everyone,” then you live in a delusional world of fantasy, and I can’t have people like you dragging me down.

Every person in my life that I associate with beyond necessity, I do so for a particular reason. I tell my friends that are all chosen for their unique virtues and aptitudes, that they are all useful and bring value to the world. They should feel proud that they aren’t “equal” to the drug addicts and transsexuals.

Helping At A Food Pantry

Last week I spent one morning helping at a charity food pantry (i.e., non-profit welfare line) in the ghetto of what once was a really nice part of what was once one of the more cultured and wealthy cities in the country. It was in the basement of a dying church that was a cornerstone of the community when it was built in the 20s, but today the descendants of the founders have all moved into the western suburbs.

We all know that I love all the little nigra chil’ren of the world. I had thought about flying to Nigeria to help people with a different skin color than me, but then I realized that was stupid.

Nine o’ clock. The doors open, and you would think it was nigger Christmas. They poured in ready for their presents. Nothing like the handout line to bring the smiling faces. I felt like 10% less guilty for being one of the winners of history.

I think I saw maybe three non-Blacks total. Some people were genuinely crippled, and I also understand that after ten years on crack you can’t just hold a job and have a normal life. But I’ve always been very ambivalent about these organizations ever since reading Robert Lupton’s Toxic Charity. We criticize the welfare system because the government does it, and then we go and create our own welfare system. How does this not turn people into beggars? This does the polar opposite of creating an autonomous, self-sufficient Black community.

Nor are they homeless people. They are people with (broken) families that can’t afford 69-cent cans of beans.

But anyway, some I’m sure had real needs, and several were physically disabled, so whatever. As long as the crack addicts and transvestites of St Louis give us a fake smile, it’s all worth it.

Now some people will say, “Oh those people should just take care of themselves. There’s no shortage of thrift stores and Dollar Generals.” But let’s be realistic. Is there any evidence anywhere in the world that more than 10 or 20 percent of Africans are able to function in a modern Western society? McDonald’s doesn’t want to hire a functional retard who is missing half his motor skills. These people are poor and dumb and should have stayed on the plantation where they got three meals a day, but we screwed that up, so now we have to give them expired cans of green beans.

White people are so racist, we feed our slaves even when they don’t work for us anymore.

And yes, it is totally possible to both have compassion on someone and realize that they aren’t remotely your equal in any possible way except in the eyes of God. You can do both.

Naturally the single mothers let their kids run around unsupervised. One little girl spilled her drink at least twice, which I knew would happen but had no way to prevent it because the mother had wandered off. And then I couldn’t clean it up — we didn’t have any paper towels out, because the manager said that the people will just steal them.

I thought about how in a few years that little girl, no matter how adorable and innocent she may look now, will almost certainly have a bunch of stupid piercings and get pregnant by someone she knows doesn’t care about her in the hope that the baby might. Like by the age of thirteen. There’s also a decent chance she has an uncle who will rape her by eleven, because Black girls go through puberty at eight these days and Africans don’t care about White people concepts like consent or morality.

Another man licked his hands “clean” before touching the tongs for the free cookies. It’s a jungle out there.

Driving home on the interstate, I passed a beautiful old Catholic church that looked like Notre Dame. It was surrounded by crumbling brick houses and a BP gas station where you can buy crack and get shot.

Cultural Ecumenism Week

What’s up, deplorables? It’s cultural ecumenism week.

This week (like, another 22 hours) I’m going to try to find the best in Catholicism. Why? For the mere intellectual exercise. It’s easy to shit on what you hate. The truly difficult task is praising that which you find revolting. So I’m going to find something to praise about Catholicism.

Tonight’s post is brought to you by this video of Muddy Waters playing with The Rolling Stones. If none of those words mean anything to you because Kanye West is your only connection to Black music, then you should kill yourself instead of continue to make America terrible again.

Look at that. The race gap bridged. Whites and Blacks brought together through a love of music. Cry me a rainbow.

The website Catholic Exchange lists “Ten Great Things about Catholicism”.

The first entry is “Hope”.

Classical paganism, as we know, always ended in despair — a noble despair sometimes, but despair nevertheless. Eastern religions don’t offer much in the way of hope, as they are tied to doctrines of fate, cycles of history, and a nirvana of extinction. Reformation Protestantism is pretty despairing, too, with Calvin’s belief that it would have been better for most people if they had never been born, predestined as they are for damnation. Secularism and materialism are no better, as wealthy secular societies tend to have the highest rates of suicide.

But in the Catholic Church, there is hope. Salvation is open to every man willing to take it. And though Jesus warned His apostles that following His way meant enduring inevitable persecution and hatred, He also gave them this promise: The gates of hell would not prevail against the Church. Even outsiders recognize this. Who ever heard of a deathbed conversion to Methodism? Hope comes from the Real Thing.

Sure, there’s a real point. No one becomes a Presbyterian on his death bed.

Protestantism did a lot of great things, like mass-produce the Bible and reintroduce the experiential element into Western Christianity. Still, there’s a dreariness to it, even outside of Calvinism. In standard evangelical theology, if an eight-year-old dies without that crucial “getting saved” awakening moment, then he goes to Hell.

In Catholicism, as long as you show up and do what you’re told, then you can go to Heaven. Which, maybe that’s not great theology, but it shows that salvation is available to everyone of all ages.

You have the power to choose in Catholicism. Whether you “got saved” at ten years old at VBS is irrelevant. The choices you make every day matter. So there’s a better sense of accountability.

All right, I recognize that this is another problem area for some milquetoast Catholics, but let’s be blunt: Do we believe in reclaiming the world for Christ and His Church, or don’t we? Medieval knights took that responsibility seriously, wore the cross on their capes and tunics, and prayed and understood an incarnational faith that acted in the world. It was these knights’ defensive war — and the defensive war of the Church and its allies up through the 18th century, for a millennium of Western history — that repelled Islamic aggression and kept western Europe free. For that we should be ashamed? No: It is one of the glories that was Christendom that in the Middle Ages the pope could wave his field marshal’s baton and knights from as far away as Norway — not to mention England, France, and Germany — would come to serve. Men were Catholics first in those days.

In my most vulnerable moments, when I must admit that my ancestors were papists, I can at least take pride that we Britons fought the Crusades. Why? Not for glory, gold and women, but for the glory of God. We took back the Holy Land and made a safe haven for Christians. Yes, some horrendous things happened, but these wars were ultimately defensive. I will never apologize for the crusades.

And look at our wars today. We pansy-ass fight against the Moslems because we are afraid to look racist, and so we are caught in a never-ending war with third-world countries we should have steam-rolled.

Nōn nōbīs, Domine, nōn nōbīs, sed nōminī tuō dā glōriam.

Not to us, Lord, not to us, but to your name give the Glory.

Which was inscribed on the Templars’ flag.

What Orthodox Christian could disagree with this statement? May it be my last dying words.

Ου ημιν, Κυριε, ου ημιν, αλλ ονοματι σου δοξαν διδου.

The Catholic Church, instead, offers a celebration of beauty; and beauty, in our world of pierced faces, body tattoos, gangsta rap, and concrete tower blocks, is something we could use much more of.

Okay, sure, the modern mass is awful. But historically, the Catholic Church built a lot of beauty-ish that is in stark contrast to the ugliness of our times. This is because Catholicism still (at least at one time in history) had a notion of absolutes. Today we believe that everything can be beautiful, and so everything has become ugly.

When the media, Protestants, and dissenters tell practicing Catholics that the impulse to sexual activity is overwhelmingly powerful and can’t be controlled or renounced, Catholics alone say, “No, man is free. All Christians are called to chastity, and what they are called to do, they can do, and some can freely take on celibacy as a sacrifice to better serve God and His Church.”

This is obviously done horribly, but it’s still a valid point. Our society values sex above anything else — even money or power. And the Catholic Church has such a centrality of celibacy that it’s a powerful counter-argument against the “worship of the creation” of our times.

The Catholic Church gets a special hatred by the secularist, and perhaps with some very valid complaints, but I think this is largely because the prots don’t have a teaching on celibacy. Only the Catholic Church gets a special kind of rejoicing from secularists every time there’s a sex scandal. No one cares if a Baptist pastor cheats on his wife.

Consider also how Catholicism transcends culture. From Poland to Colombia to Vietnam, Catholicism has truly transcended all nationality. All it asks is that you come as you are.

Another great thing about Catholicism is the sacrament of confession. Catholicism recognizes that people need accountability. Having to vocalize your sins to another human is much different than silently asking Jesus to forgive you for your sins.

Oh, who am I kidding? Catholicism is the whore of the nations. An antichrist par excellence.

Yes, there are definitely godly Catholics. My employer is a Catholic family, and they seem like really good people. But Catholicism, by and large, is spiritually dead. Any Catholic who is a Christlike person is so in spite of being Catholic instead of because of being Catholic. Catholicism is more likely to make you suck cock than oppose feminism.

People who defend Catholicism have to pull out examples from histories centuries ago and then grossly stereotype them. They try to excise most of modern Catholicism and then defend the Swiss cheese that’s left over. Two problems with this:

1) You cannot isolate the aspects of an ideology from each other. An ideology exists as a whole, warts and all. Somewhere there’s a Nietzsche quote that the fallacies in a belief system are not a flaw but a condition.

So no, you can’t just say that Vatican II “isn’t real Catholicism”. Vatican II is a product of the Catholic mind. In no way was it an accident of history. You can’t arbitrarily decide what you like and dislike from a belief system, especially when what you dislike is the mainstream viewpoint propagated by the formal structure you believe is the ultimate authority for all metaphysical teaching.

To be a non-Vatican II Catholic is like being a non-Calvinist Presbyterian. At that point you should just find a different name.

2) Even pre-Vatican II Catholicism was spiritually dead. Those who try to argue otherwise have an idealized fantasy of the past. Much how evangelical protestants believe that the 1950s were a time when everyone was a Christian who held traditional Christian morality and then burned it down in the mid-60s for no reason.

Catholicism has never really been good. By the 1200s Francis of Assisi had to missionize Catholicism’s own territory. The high middle ages with the glories of scholastic theology ended in the tragedy of the Protestant Reformation. The Counter-Reformation resulted in the St Bartholomew’s Day Massacre and Jesuits tricking Indians into taking baptism.

So no, at no point in any recent history has the Catholic Church been spiritually healthy. This is because the Catholic Church does not have the Holy Spirit.

The Catholic Church does not have the Holy Spirit. How can you claim to be the Church if you don’t have the Spirit? It makes no sense.

John 16:13 But when He, the Spirit of truth, comes, He will guide you into all the truth; for He will not speak on His own initiative, but whatever He hears, He will speak; and He will disclose to you what is to come.

The Catholic Church, obviously, does not have all truth, as evidenced by their history of secularism. Therefore, the Catholic Church does not have the Holy Spirit. Therefore, the Catholic Church isn’t actually the Church.

It’s just basic Aristotelian logic. Something that Catholics should be familiar with.

Why Is The Bible Soft On Slavery?

I just saw The Prince of Egypt for the first time since it came out. It seems to be one of those movies that kids didn’t really understand until twenty years later (c.f., The Iron Giant and Treasure Planet). Visually and musically stunning, I understand why the adults loved it. As an eight-year-old, I was really bothered that there were puddles on the “dry ground” of the Red Sea.

The movie is a little heavy on the social justice abolitionism angle. This makes sense, since it was made by former Disney employees. I get that this is a really pedantic thing to complain about.

So, anyway, why is the Bible soft on slavery? Despite the whole Exodus thing, the Mosaic Law makes allowances for slavery. Most infamously, in the New Testament St Paul tells a runaway slave to return to his master. Not until maybe the 1700s did Christians really concern themselves with slavery.

Of course I want to say that you can’t judge the Bible by modern ethics, but the ethics of slavery are so ingrained into our culture that this question is hard to avoid asking. The simple answer would be just to say, “Slavery is totally fine, and slaves should never run away from their masters.” But that doesn’t account for the actual slave trade, where they went to Africa and ripped people out of their homelands. It also doesn’t address the ethics of dividing up families by selling a slave to another plantation in another state.

Some people say that American slavery was unique and that normally slaves have more autonomy. I don’t know. This is probably true.

[Interesting link.]

Okay, so, when the Bible (and particularly the New Testament) talks about obeying civil authority, I think what it’s saying is to not cause social chaos unnecessarily. Obey the emperor, pay your taxes, whatever. Don’t get bogged down in social justice. St Paul didn’t start a slave revolt, because that would cause the government to bring down the hammer even harder.

And another thing. You free the slaves and tell them good luck, and you get modern Baltimore. Aristotle said that slaves are naturally slaves and that it’s a disservice to free them. As I’ve written before, even with all the freedom and education and pandering, Blacks still have no sense of social responsibility, because they still have a slave mentality. The slave doesn’t ask about the viability of the welfare state — he just takes what he’s offered and lets someone else do those calculations, much how the grunt employee asks the business owner for a raise and doesn’t care about labor costs.

When the Hebrews were freed from slavery in Egypt, they had a country to go to. There was a plan to give them a new civilization to live in. There was an existing social infrastructure, with leaders of the community and a nascent theocracy. This is totally different than smuggling negroes to Canada just so that they can get a job mopping floors.

God delivered the Hebrews from slavery not because of social justice or self-determination but because of the covenant he made with Abraham. This was immediately followed by the Mosaic Law, which was a strict set of rules to govern every small aspect of life. So clearly this isn’t the “watch tv and be a poet” careerism we think of as freedom. The freedom from Egypt was the freedom to enter into a deeper submission to God.

What is never addressed is how far is the moral license of a slave escaping. If it’s okay for a slave to run away, is it also okay for him to kill his master? Is it okay for the slave to steal food? These questions are never asked.

I think the position of the Bible is that slavery is a not-ideal thing, and there are allowances in the Mosaic Law to ease the burden. But the Bible, and especially the Mosaic Law, understands the brutality of human nature. Instead of totally wiping out man’s selfishness, the Law tries to mollify it. So if you conquer another city and want to take a sex prize, there are rules for how you must treat her.

This sounds horrendous to us today, but we live in a society that can allow for a much more advanced morality. And anyway, I don’t pretend to fathom all the depths of the Bible. My natural tendency is to instantly provide an answer for any challenge, but after making enough dumb answers to “Why does the Bible allow rape?”, I’ve learned to just be comfortable saying, “I don’t know. I’ll have to do some research.”

The Bible tolerates slavery but does not encourage it, as it does with polygamy and alcohol.

Furthermore, what is the normal reason people give that slavery is wrong? “Slaves can’t do what they want! People have a right to their own self-determination.”

This idea of self-determination is a new thing. In most of human society, your father is a farmer, so you become a farmer. Whether or not you would rather be a poet is irrelevant. At best your family might be able to apprentice you out for some kind of skilled trade. Maybe you can join a band of thieves.

Our obsession with “following your dreams” is the product of a resource-excessive society. So is mass literacy and democracy. These things don’t exist in most human society for a reason. To super-impose that on a civilization like ancient Rome and then condemn slavery is anachronistic.

So what do I think about slavery, based on what I see in the Bible? I think it’s something society should try to not have, but I also don’t think it’s a sin. I think slave masters are obligated to treat their slaves a certain way, and I think slaves are obligated to follow the law. I am really tired of Christians loudly virtue-signalling how much they oppose slavery, as though it matters.

Nor was slavery the worst labor conditions America has ever thought up. I would strongly argue that that position belongs to coal mining scrip towns. There are things worse than slavery, or at least things just as bad. Blacks in Alabama had to pick cotton. Whites in New York had to live in squalid apartments.

Even today, most people don’t live like Sex and the City. They live paycheck to paycheck working a job they hate. Everything is terrible. Causing a slave revolt in ancient Greece isn’t going to make anything better. Just look at Haiti.

The History Of MADD And Non-Profits In General [Link]

Granted, this isn’t exactly an unbiased website.

This country was founded on avoiding alcohol taxes. Then President Washington — the first Lincoln — waged a war against his own Scots-Irish veterans because they couldn’t afford his stupid tax.

I refuse to respect any DUI law. I may occasionally not drink-and-drive in suburban St Louis County because you know the Democrat government will set up sobriety check points instead of profiling the feral people-of-color.

According to the painstaking research of Stephen Beck of Drinkers Against Mad Mothers, only 500 innocent Americans are killed each year by drunk drivers. As many Americans are killed in railway accidents each year. […] “The billion-plus number of arrestable, impaired driving incidents per year (if they were sugar cubes) would form a line longer than 9,000 miles. The number of fatalities caused by drunken drivers, if also represented by sugar cubes, could be held in your hands.”

Niggers with guns kill far more people than drunk drivers looking for fast food at an hour when everyone is already off the roads.

I was taught in government schools that Christians were opposed to women’s suffrage. As an adult I learned that many Christian left-wing loons like fundamentalist Democrat William Jennings Bryan supported women’s suffrage precisely because it would lead to the prohibition of alcohol — which it did.

Indeed, girls just want to have fun as long as men can’t have any.

Should You Murder Jews To Defend The White Race?

Obviously the answer is no. Homicide should only be done in immediate self-defense or by the government after a court trial. I’m kind of uncertain on what I think about war ethics, but shooting random synagogues in the hope that the Jews will all flee to Israel isn’t what civilized Westerners do. None of the people at the synagogue were given a chance to speak in their defense and be judged by a jury of their peers. Due process is the most foundational American value, even more than freedom of speech.

No matter what the Jews have done to us, there’s no excuse to act like a Muslim.

Regular commenter here Jack has begun posting a weekly list of articles worth reading on his blog. One of his links is to the manifesto of the recent San Diego synagogue shooter.

I read the whole thing, and you better believe that the entire internet dissident right-wing will be implicated. It’s not subtle. And he constantly said he did this out of his love for Jesus Christ, so you know the atheists are going to bring this up every time you condemn Islam.  At least he had the decency to distance himself from Donald Trump.

This was inevitable, of course. Eventually someone on the internet reactionary forums would take their beliefs into the real world. The left-wing knows they have to stamp out this kind of talk before “we” come for their heads. The liberals are correct that allowing this kind of speech persuades people of ideas that can cause them to act in ways the liberals very much wish they wouldn’t. And I think cold-blooded murder in a house of worship would be a one of those consequences liberals wish to avoid for themselves, though they won’t think twice of doing it to you.

While I never condone vigilante political violence, I have to respect John Earnest for living out his beliefs. Not many people actually believe in their beliefs. You and I merely bitch about Jews on the internet.

I may fantasize about spray-painting a rebel flag on the side of a synagogue, but it’s never going to happen. Nor am I under any delusion that I’m a proud and noble culture warrior. At most I make subversion comments at work mocking people who loudly denounce racism, though I truly believe being open and unapologetic about reactionary views has a real effect on the culture.

But John Earnest did something with real consequences beyond getting fired from a job he hates, and he did it in such a way that would enable others to do the same. That’s more than you can say about Ted Kaczynski, who is like a god to me, even though I can’t spell his name.

So should I live out my beliefs? Should I kill the Jew to defend the White race from Jew propaganda and Jew usury and Jew ideology and Jew miscegenation?

The White race Earnest is defending does not look like this, at least in any significant numbers:

[All of these photos except the first one are famous people from the last century.]

In reality the White race that the internet is defending looks like this:

The White race is not worth saving.

Now you’re going to say, “But that’s just what Earnest is saying! He’s claiming this is the product of Jew propaganda.”

The merchant can only sell because the goy wants to buy. We hate the Jew for selling us porn and the Christian for telling us to stop watching it.

Nietzsche said that if God did not exist, then humanity would have invented Him anyway. Likewise, if the Jew did not exist, we would have found a new group to sell us all our sins as virtues. Muslims and Hindus don’t need Jews to convince them to have sex with donkeys or worship rats.

If Whites had a pure soul and a real sense of purpose, the Jew propaganda would be rejected in disgust. Propaganda can only work if it tells people what they want to hear. The Jews are merely filling the spiritual vacuum we’ve created for ourselves.

It’s not an accident of history or the schemes of a James Bond super villain that socialist views are becoming mainstream in politics a century after they immediately led in mass murder in Russia. The French Revolution was not the product of Jews, and it clearly shows the effects of leveling the social order and trying to rebuild it from scratch long before Marx. These ideas continue to sell, because they appeal to the base drives of anger and greed.

Don’t hate the Jew for acting like a Jew. Hate the White man for failing to live up to his ancestors.

Five Distinct Meanings That The Confederate Flag Can Signify

The Rolling Stones at the Alamo in 1975 indulging in American exoticism. Keith Richards poses with a Rebel flag, despite his love of Black musicians and Black women.

Symbols change meanings in different contexts. The cross used to be a symbol of death, but now it is a symbol of life. Even the swastika, which is usually a symbol of antisemitism, was an anarchist symbol in the London punk scene and is just a fashion trend in East Asia.

So while the slavery was definitely a core issue in the Civil War, the flag it produced has taken on many different shades of meanings in many different contexts. Indeed, what is usually produced as the Confederate flag was actually never officially adopted by the Confederacy. Here are just five common and distinct meanings that the Confederate flag has had.

1. Marking Battle Lines

This was its actual original purpose. Originally it didn’t have anything to do with slavery. It was solely about making it clear which regiments you shouldn’t shoot at.

2. Libertarian Sentiment

I think this is the most common reason today. The Confederate flag is a symbol of dissatisfaction with the federal government. It questions the government’s right to legislate morality.

This seems like the main reason the elites are so opposed to it. A totalitarian government cannot abide by such a flagrant symbol flaunting its moral philosophy, much less its very right to exist. Anything that cannot be co-opted and turned into a commodity must be destroyed.Often this has a kind of punk ethos. Gavin McInnes beautifully explained it:

They don’t want to keep the Confederate flag because they’re proud of slavery. They want to keep it because you said they can’t.

That’s half the reason that Rebel flag will just not die no matter how much its stigmatized. If the liberals and Yanks quit caring about it, the flag would lose its mystique, and Southerners would grow bored with it.

The other half of the reason is because the Confederate flag just looks bad ass. The diagonal cross is a symbol of power. I’m deeply jealous of the British for the Union Jack.

It says something about humanity that such a timeless, beautiful symbol like the Rebel flag has been used for so much evil, both by those supporting it and by those trying to destroy it.

3. Class Identity

The Confederate flag is often used to show an affiliation with being a lower class White from a rural or under-developed area. This was definitely my experience growing up in the Upper South. My friends and I never wore Rebel flags, not for moral reasons, but just because we were not part of that demographic.

4. Southern Nationalism

The South has a strong sense of regional identity. Often the flag is used to mark the people of the South as a distinct cultural and ethnic group in opposition of the rest of the country. And the flag is specifically about White Southerners. All Confederate flags are inherently racial, regardless of any other intent. You can’t divorce the Whiteness from the Confederate flag. Notice also that it bears a strong resemblance to the flag of Scotland, which is where most White Southerners trace their ancestry.

I’m not sure what the term “White nationalist” actually means, but this is a flag of national identity for White people from a specific region. Does that make it a White nationalist flag? And if so, does that mean White nationalism is inherently bad? If Southern nationalism is bad, what about the belief that New York is the greatest city in the world?

This racial element doesn’t mean that the Confederate flag is inherently racist, any more than the African Methodist Episcopal Church is racist just because they cater to a specific race. However, another meaning for the Confederate flag that is intimately tied to its history is…

5. Racism

And throughout this article I mean “racism” in the most casual sense possible, because I normally try to avoid the term. Yes, the Confederate flag has absolutely been used to signify a desire for Whites to be favored politically. And it’s been used as a means to intimidate Black people into leaving an area. And frankly half the reason I wear it is just to piss off niggers, liberals and Yankees, because I’m an asshole like that.

I’m not sure if this is actual racism (in the sense that most people use the term), but as I’ve written before, in Mississippi the Confederate flag is used to segregate bars. The Blacks aren’t really offended at this, and the bars are never vandalized. Most Mississippi Blacks don’t care whether or not the state flag is changed, because they know it doesn’t affect them.

The Confederate flag clearly wasn’t politicized until the last twenty years or so, which makes the sudden hysteria and violence over it difficult to take seriously. I refuse to allow activists who hate me decide which words and symbols I am allowed to use and what those words and symbols mean or don’t mean. Nor will I define my words and symbols solely in opposition to whatever the activists say just for the sake of being reactionary.

Bill Clinton infamously used the Confederate flag in his 1992 presidential campaign to win back the South (or, more likely, unofficially and quietly tolerated its usage), and as governor he signed legislation commemorating the Confederacy on the Arkansas state flag. In 2003 Howard Dean said he wanted to appeal to “guys with Confederate flags on their pickup trucks” when running for president.

From The Adventures of Pete and Pete, episode “Hard Day’s Pete”, on liberal-secular Nickelodeon in 1994.

Elvis sang “Dixie” with Blacks in his backup band, and Lynyrd Skynyrd toured with the Confederate flag while playing cringeworthy songs about a magical negro guitarman. The Allman Brothers Band used the flag in their early merchandise even though they had a Black drummer. The Confederate flag isn’t inherently racist. Realistically, though, most people who wave it kind of are anyway.

Good Friday Fish

The last few weeks I’ve been working at an upscale seafood restaurant in the St Louis area. It’s Lent, and there’s a lot of elderly wealthy Catholics in this area, so Fridays have been insane. Tonight was Good Friday on the Western calendar, so we had a line outside the door.

I’m not actually complaining because my tips are going to kick ass, but I was kind of disgusted at the crowd. Catholics go to mass and mourn about how Jesus was brutally murdered, and then they celebrate with a gourmet meal. How is that even a thing?

This is sort of hypocritical of me, because I’ve rarely been conscientious with fasting. I’m sure I’ve gorged myself during Holy Week in recent years. One year I actually watched Harold And Kumar Go To White Castle just hours before the Easter vigil. But at least I have the self-awareness to feel guilty. I don’t take a party of seven to an upper mid-range restaurant and put a picture on Facebook.

JC died today so lets par-tay with the grandkidz! LOL #GoodFriday

Two years ago, if I remember correctly, I didn’t eat or (with a small exception) drink anything from Good Friday morning until the midnight vigil the next day. Have you ever met a Catholic who could even think of doing that?

And yeah, I know the protestants don’t even pretend to fast, but that’s kind of my point. At least they’re honest about it. They don’t build an elaborate liturgical calendar and then treat it like a list of chores.

If your idea of fasting is shrimp scampi, you’re doing Christianity wrong.

Persecuting Indians; Hate Speech On Reddit; The Everly Brothers’ Red Pill

I haven’t been writing much because I’ve been preparing to move over the last week. I’m leaving Rocky Top for the big city to find work. The good news is that Missouri used to be a slave state, so I won’t have to burn my shoes for stepping on Yankee soil.

Actually I expect to be back in Tennessee Appalachia in half a year or so. I will never give up my mountain man pioneering ways. Wherever there is a red man squatting in the holler drinking moonshine, I will be there to defend Western Civilization.

You know, a few weeks ago I was driving through Cherokee, North Carolina. I thought, What are all these people doing here? Didn’t we remove them? I thought there was an Act about that.

Truly it is the Indians who are the illegal immigrants. And thinking about it, most Mexicans are really just Aztecs.

One of my best friends is 3/8 Blackfoot and Cherokee. I tell him all the time that I hope Donald Trump deports him to Oklahoma.

He recently got a DUI. I told him it’s not fair that he has to live among the white man’s values and that he should go be with his people where they won’t judge him. For whatever reason he has never taken advantage of any of the government handouts to red people, even when he was homeless and strung out on cough syrup.

So instead I’ll leave you with a Reddit post of mine. I’ve been trying to get banned from Reddit. So far I’ve been banned from r/racism for saying that the term “racism” was made up by the Jews to rob white people. But I want to get booted off the website entirely.

Despite the wave of hate in the comments section, this post on r/unpopularopinions hovered at around even likes and dislikes. Three months later it occasionally still gets comments and earlier today had a voting score of +24. So apparently people hate gays and just don’t like saying so.

The text of my comparatively gentle spiel in r/unpopularopinions, “Gays Are Really Annoying And I Make A Point To Not Associate With Them”:

I used to feel sorry for them. In college a lot of my friends were gay, and I was under the impression that other Christians are really mean to them (I’m a Christian) and that they’re just “looking for love in the wrong place.” I thought gay marriage should be legal on libertarian grounds.

Now, honestly, I hate these people. They are subversive and have to gay-ify everything. Nothing is left untouched. Everyone must not just tolerate them but praise them. Children must be taught the different sexualities, and schools should teach how gay sex works. Pride week has expanded to pride month, and there’s an extra parade in November. Sue a pizza shop if they won’t cater your wedding. Add a gay character to a Disney film. Get someone fired for his private beliefs. You can’t even speak your opinion on it at work anymore, even here in the allegedly fundamentalist American South.

These people are bullies who pretend to be libertarian when it’s convenient but quickly turn into the kind of close-minded moralist radicals they hate at the first opportunity.

Their fashion is ugly and designed to attract attention, and they purposely put on that fake high pitched voice. Everything about them is fake and ugly. And they talk filthy. They make everything about sex.

They aren’t looking for love. They are looking for a parody of love. The male homosexuals will often have sex with 100 men in a year and then complain about HIV and demand the government bail them out. If I had sex with 100 women in a year, and all of them had sex with 100 men, yeah I’d probably catch something nasty.

Three quarters of lesbians have had sex with a man before, which means they aren’t actually lesbians. They are just bitter women throwing a tantrum.

And you have all these stories of people, male and female, leaving their spouse and children to be gay, which 1) means they’re just bisexual and therefore do have a choice and 2) is horrendously unethical. Do your vows not mean anything? Don’t your children deserve a stable home?

These people are a ball of chaos, and being homosexual is a symptom of a chaotic inner world. I’m not mean to them. I don’t treat them unfairly or openly insult them. I just don’t associate with them if I can help it.

I think a lot of former allies are really coming around to this view. The documentary The Gift — about bugchasing from a pro-homosexual viewpoint — has unintentionally contributed a lot to people waking up.

I hate gay people, and I think other people should hate gay people too.

Off topic, my Elvis favorites playlist. The first dozen or so are my very favorites, and then they are loosely organized by genre.

The Everly Brothers laying down red pill game advice:

It deserves its own post, but I’m not sure how much there is to say. Basically it’s just saying that remember you aren’t trying to make friends.

There are very few women I have ever met worth having as just friends. Men and women aren’t they same. We have different purposes. That doesn’t mean one is better than the other.

And of course, the song is saying that women are beautiful because men are attracted to beauty. Beauty doesn’t exist in isolation.

Really, it’s good advice for anything. Whatever you do, remember why you are doing it. You aren’t working overtime so you can have money — you’re working overtime because you want to pay down debts or buy something specific.
